Role:
To assist in spiritual mentoring to a small group of pre-adolescent children.
Win Statement: We WIN when children begin to take ownership of their faith beyond that which their parents cultivate.
Team Purpose: Teach children the Truth of God's Word. / Invite children to share in God's Grace. / Mentor children in the development of faith principles. / To guide children into healthy spiritual relationships with parents and peers.
Requirements: Patient with active children in an active stage of life. / Ability to empathize with children as they struggle through issues of life development. / A desire to learn.
Things to do: Assist a staffer in leading a group of 3 to 10 students into meaningful conversation about the lesson of the week. / Mentor a child one-on-one as needed. / Maintain classroom order.
