Jay joined the staff of Grace Point in July 2007 as Pastor of Connection to help newcomers feel a genuine welcome and assist everyone at Grace Point to connect meaningfully to others here on their faith journey. His role includes the coordination of the wide variety of small groups that are offered throughout the year and oversight of men and women’s ministries.

Jay grew up in upstate New York. When he was eight years old, he talked with his brother-in-law about where people go when they die. Because he did not want to go to hell, he trusted Christ as his Savior. At 16 while attending a Fellowship of Christian Athletes camp, he learned more about God’s love and grace, and committed to walk with and serve Christ on a daily basis. Jay is a graduate of Houghton College and Dallas Theological Seminary. From 1983-2003, Jay was called to pastor a church plant which formed in central New Jersey and then permanently relocated to Yardley.

Jay is married to Kim, and they have three adult sons. Jay and Kim enjoy relating to people as a team, and Jay is passionate about using his gifts to build relationships and encourage others in their walk with the Lord.
