Young Adult Women's Bible Study

Young women ages 22-38 meet weekly to encourage one another , study the Word of God and enjoy time relaxing, chatting and having a light meal together. The past few years we’ve studied in detail the Lord’s prayer, the lives and lessons of women in the Bible and other topical studies such as dealing with stresses and anxieties from a Biblical perspective. Some women are young professionals, some single, others engaged. We have college students and gals going to grad school. As you can see we’ve been quite a diverse group over the recent years. One common thread binds us all together is our love of the Lord and desire to serve Him and live more like Him.

In addition to our weekly Wednesday evening studies, we have done a few service projects like making crafts for the Christmas outreach OWN. We have also held several dinners or brunch for the senior citizen’s group (Prime Time Fellowship) at our church. Many in our group are involved with the Worship Team or Mission Team or serve in Children's Ministry.

Lastly, this is a group for young women who like to have fun. We’ve gone apple picking together, had pool parties and dinners out. The group enjoys an annual overnight to a lake in the Poconos each summer.

Please join us! We’d love to have you!

Lynn Ely

I’ve been a Believer in Christ for 55 years having accepted Him as my savior early in life at a VBS at a local church. I grew up in a Christian home and have sought to grow in my faith along life’s way.

I’m happily married to Glenn for almost 40 years having met him in our Council Rock high school FCA. We have 3 grown married children and eight grandchildren under 8. Glenn and I love to snow ski in the winters and boat, fish, and waterski each summer at our beloved Fairview Lake. We hope to perfect our golf and tennis games soon! I retired after 35 years as a middle school math teacher and look forward to Glenn winding down too.
