Jen Chung

Communications Assistant

Jen was born in Allentown, PA, where she spent most of her early life. In high school, she moved to Shanghai when the Lord called her parents to share the Gospel in China. She returned to the US for college, where she met her husband, Peter, while they were both at UC Berkeley. They lived on the West Coast for a few years, where she started a career in communications for high-tech companies, and eventually made it back to Pennsylvania with a family of their own.

Raised in a loving Christian household, Jen knew from an early age that she wanted Jesus to be a part of her life. However, it wouldn’t be until her college years that she began to wrestle with her faith and truly seek after God. Since that time, she has experienced His patient, pursuing love for her through different chapters of her life, most of all through the journey of motherhood.

Jen loves the promise held in Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
