Adorned - Women's Mentoring
Mentoring is a deeply biblical model of discipleship and spiritual growth. Scripture calls women to come alongside one another in love, wisdom, and faith. In Titus 2:3-5, Paul encourages older women to teach and encourage younger women, nurturing them in godly living and spiritual maturity. This pattern reflects Christ’s own method of discipling—walking closely with others, sharing life, truth, and grace.
Throughout the Bible, we see examples of mentoring relationships: Moses and Joshua, Eli and Samuel, Naomi and Ruth, Elizabeth and Mary, Saul and Barnabas, Lois and Eunice with Timothy, older women and younger women, and Jesus and His disciples. These relationships show the power of encouragement, accountability, and shared wisdom.
At its heart, biblical mentoring is about investing in the spiritual growth of others, bearing one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), helping each other become more like Christ (Colossians 1:28) and more fully committed followers of Jesus.
Women mentoring women is not just a suggestion—it is a call to community, transformation through Christ, and legacy-building in Christ.
