Happy January!

Here’s a snapshot of what we are learning about in Sunday School this month.

Preschool and Toddler:

As we start January 2025, preschoolers will learn so much through our Big Deal, “A to Z! God Takes Care of Me!” Because of who God is, preschoolers can know that He will always love and take care of them. This month we will teach preschoolers that God can always be trusted to take care of them because He is strong, He is our peace, He is trustworthy, and He is faithful.

Elementary:

The Elementary will continue to learn about Moses and the Israelites. This month we will focus on how God instructs His people. God continued to show Himself faithful to the Israelites, even though He knew they would be unfaithful to Him. God gave His people commands to follow because He loved them. God instructed the Israelites on how to love Him and other people. He gave them clear instructions on what it means to worship Him alone.

About the Author

Sophie Allers

Sophie has an enthusiastic heart for kids of all ages. She is originally from Chester County, PA, where she was raised by parents who worked for the church. Children's Ministry has impacted Sophie's life deeply and she strives to create an atmosphere where kids can learn about God in fun and engaging ways.

After years of involvement in Children's Ministry at her church, Sophie studied Elementary Education at Cairn University and is currently working on her Master's Degree. She has taught a variety of ages, including second grade at a small Christian school. She is passionate about instilling the love of God and a biblical worldview into her ministry, as well as partnering with parents to support them in raising God-loving kids. Sophie joined our team in March of 2022.

Sophie and her husband, Andrew, have three children, Lucy, Theo, and Ben. They enjoy playing outside, cooking together, and serving together at church.
