Preschool:

This March we can’t wait to introduce your preschoolers to our Big Deal, “Step By Step! God Wants Me to Know Him!” God is not unknowable, impersonable, or mysterious. Rather, God has revealed Himself through the Bible and through Jesus. Through Bible stories from the life of Abram (later called Abraham), preschoolers will learn they can trust in God, talk with God, listen to God, and walk with God.

 Elementary:

This March we will continue to learn about the Old Testament, and how Moses commissioned Joshua to be the Israelites’ new leader. Joshua courageously brought the Israelites into the Promised Land, trusting that God would be with them. God aided the Israelites in their conquest by demonstrating His power and holiness amid sin. God confirmed that He alone is worthy of their trust and devotion.

Big Picture Question:

Why can we trust God?

We can trust God because He is faithful and does everything for His glory and our good.

About the Author

Sophie Allers

Sophie has an enthusiastic heart for kids of all ages. She is originally from Chester County, PA, where she was raised by parents who worked for the church. Children's Ministry has impacted Sophie's life deeply and she strives to create an atmosphere where kids can learn about God in fun and engaging ways.

After years of involvement in Children's Ministry at her church, Sophie studied Elementary Education at Cairn University and is currently working on her Master's Degree. She has taught a variety of ages, including second grade at a small Christian school. She is passionate about instilling the love of God and a biblical worldview into her ministry, as well as partnering with parents to support them in raising God-loving kids. Sophie joined our team in March of 2022.

Sophie and her husband, Andrew, have three children, Lucy, Theo, and Ben. They enjoy playing outside, cooking together, and serving together at church.
