Hello, Parents! We are looking forward to all September holds for your children in learning God's Word and His perfect love for them!
Elementary: In September, elementary kids will see that Solomon’s unfaithfulness to God led to a divided and troubled kingdom. Rather than seek the Lord wholeheartedly, the people of Israel and Judah turned to worship worthless idols. Yet, God did not forsake His people. Through the prophet Elijah, God demonstrated His presence, power, and preeminence as the one true God.
Big Picture Question and Answer: How many gods are there? There is one true God who alone deserves worship.
Key Passage: …that all the peoples of the earth my know that the LORD is God; there is no other. (1 Kings 8:60)
Preschool: This month our preschoolers will learn the Big Deal, “Up, Down, All Around! God Knows Me!” We will explore Bible stories that remind us that God knows every detail, everyone, every hurt, and everything that happens. Not only does God know everything about us, but He also loves us so much that He provided a way for us to have a relationship with Him by sending His Son, Jesus.
