One of the great privileges I have as Director of Connections & Volunteer Engagement is overseeing our Groups Ministry here at Grace Point—and I’ve seen firsthand how meaningful it can be when people find the right space to connect and grow.

A few years ago, we introduced Seasonal Groups as another way to help people step into group life at Grace Point. While many of our Life, Study, and Care Groups meet on a more ongoing basis, Seasonal Groups offer a shorter commitment around a specific topic or study and run three times a year—winter, spring/summer, and fall.

Why do we love them? Because they create an easy on-ramp.

Maybe you’re new to Grace Point and want a simple way to meet people. Maybe your schedule changes throughout the year. Maybe your Life Group is on a break or you want to experience something new together. Seasonal Groups make all of that possible. From Bible studies and marriage enrichment to missions-focused conversations and practical life topics, each season brings fresh opportunities to connect, grow in your faith, and take a next step. And the best part? There’s always another season around the corner.

We’d love for you to jump in and see what God might have for you through group life at Grace Point.

Sunday Mornings

God Owns It All: 7-week study – Beginning 10/4/2026

Unveiling Glory: 8-week study – Beginning 10/5/2026

This 8-week study connects the Bible’s unified story and God’s purposes, from the Old to the New Testament. Clarify confusing topics and discover your role in God’s plan. Notetaking handouts will be provided throughout the study.

[Women's Study] The Gospel Centered Life: 9-week study – Beginning 9/21/2026

This 9-week study explores how the gospel shapes every aspect of life. Through biblical teaching and group discussion, we'll grow in our understanding of the good news of Jesus and discover how the gospel transforms the way we think, live, and relate to others. Growing Deeper at Grace Point: 4-week series – Beginning 10/1/2026

Take your next step at Grace Point with this 4-week interactive series! Growing Deeper will help you discover how God has equipped you to serve, grow in your faith, and better follow Jesus. Along the way, you’ll build friendships, be encouraged in your walk with God, and find your place in our community. Whether you’re new or have been here for years, this series will help you engage more fully in the life and mission of Grace Point. Notetaking handouts will be provided throughout the study.

About the Author

Joan Zeberlein

Joan was born and raised in, as she describes it, “the very small town of Smethport, PA,” which borders New York State. Joan grew up in the church but, as she states, “I knew about God, but I didn’t know Him.” Joan credits special people God put on her path and the Rick Warren book, The Purpose Driven Life, for helping her to realize that God desired a personal relationship with her. 

Joan served part-time as the Director of Women's Ministries for 14 years and in 2019, she joined the staff full-time. She loves her role as Director of Connections and Volunteer Engagement and is passionate about serving out of her gifting. Her heart for fostering connections and encouraging involvement helps to create an environment where others feel valued and empowered to serve. Joan is extremely at ease whether building and leading serving teams or welcoming and following up with new people that God brings through the doors of Grace Point.

Joan’s life verse is Romans 8:38-39, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
