Easter Offering 2025

This year our Easter offering will be designated to support Samaritan’s Purse, whose mission is to provide spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world meeting the needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine.

Samaritan’s Purse stands ready to respond at a moment’s notice when disaster strikes, whether at home or abroad. Suffering people can’t wait; staff, vehicles, tractor trailers with equipment and supplies, and an army of volunteers to help devastated homeowners are deployed quickly through their well-organized system and years of experience.

They tarp roofs, mud out houses, cut up downed trees, sift through ashes for personal belongings, and more, to help hurting people start down the road to recovery. And most importantly, they share with them the hope found only in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and let them know that God loves them and hasn’t forgotten them.

These funds will help to support their ongoing essential operations as they have fielded a significant number of disasters.

Samaritan’s Purse is currently responding to the deadly 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar and Thailand on March 28. It was followed just 12 minutes later by a 6.4-magnitude aftershock. This powerful quake has caused widespread destruction —collapsing hundreds of buildings and damaging other infrastructure, killing more than 3,000 people, and injuring countless more. The Ministry of Health in Myanmar has requested assistance as tens of thousands are suffering. Local medical facilities are overwhelmed; many are without clean water and proper sanitation, making the spread of disease a dire risk.
