We are so excited to partner with Samaritan’s Purse in Operation Christmas Child (OCC) again this year! We hope to see all our Grace Point community participate in our Christmas outreach opportunity where we hope to fill 300+ shoeboxes!

“The COVID-19 global pandemic has disrupted everyday life for millions of people around the world. Yet, Samaritan's Purse continues to share the eternal hope of the Gospel and to serve in Jesus' Name.We want boys and girls around the world to know that God loves them and has not forgotten them during this time of fear and uncertainty. Children need great joy now more than ever. Most of all, they need the hope found only in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Will you partner with us to share that glorious hope with boys and girls around the world—many of whom have never heard the Name of Jesus?” Franklin Graham, President of Samaritan’s Purse

We get to be a part of the work that God is doing all over the world through Samaritan’s Purse, isn’t that awesome?!

We have SEVERAL opportunities for you to engage in Operation Christmas Child this year:

    • Pray. Pray for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to spread all throughout the world through shoebox gifts.
    • Purchase. Shop for items off the Amazon Registry to go towards our church-wide packing party where we hope to fill 300 boxes! Instructions for using the Amazon Registry provided HERE.
    • Sign-up. Gather your family and friends, your small group, or come on your own to the packing party on Wednesday, November 17. (Details for signing up and what to expect coming soon!)
    • Serve. Volunteer to help by:
-Serving as a table representative during the packing party
-Cleaning up after the packing party
    • Fill a box at home. Get a shoebox or two or three at Grace Point and fill your own! (This is how we will reach our goal of 300+ shoeboxes!)
    • Donate: Each box cost Samaritan’s Purse approximately $9 for shipping. If you would like to contribute towards the shipping expense, you can make out a check to Samaritan’s Purse with OCC on the memo line and turn it in at Grace Point OR mail it directly to Samaritan’s Purse-PO Box 3000 Boone, NC 28607 OR go to Samaritan’s Purse and make an online donation.

Check out all those options to participate in our Christmas outreach this year bringing hope and the Gospel message to children all over the world. You can choose one, two, three…or ALL of the options available! How you choose to engage is up to you, but the impact it will make is up to God! To Him be all the glory!!
