Care

"Carry one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
(Galatians 6:2, NIV)

If you're feeling sad or struggling inside, don't suffer alone. The Care Ministries at Grace Point offer compassionate care to meet you where you most need support, whether in a group setting or one-to-one.  We also offer confidential, focused, one-to-one Christian care for those struggling with the challenges of life. Our trained Care Ministers meet regularly with their care receivers and provide care as long as the person needs.

Grace Point offers the following support ministries:

Mental Health

Our Mental Health Ministry is dedicated to providing compassionate, nonprofessional support to individuals and families impacted by mental health challenges. Our mission is threefold:

  • Support: We minister to youth, families, and anyone affected by mental health struggles, offering understanding and encouragement in a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Equip: We provide resources to our church community to normalize mental health challenges and inspire nonjudgmental love and acceptance. Through education, we aim to break down stigma and foster a culture of care.
  • Train: We equip our youth leaders with the tools to minister effectively to adolescents facing mental health issues, ensuring they receive the support they need.
  • Share Hope: We seek to share the healing and hope that comes from Christ and connect individuals with others who understand their journey.

Above all, we strive to share the love and hope of Christ with those suffering and connect them with others who understand their journey. For more information, please email our Care Coordinator, Eileen Hemming, at .

Special Needs

Our Special Needs Ministry is dedicated to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for children with special needs and their families. On Sunday mornings, we offer tailored options to meet the unique needs of each child:

GriefShare

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. Most people quickly feel comfortable and accepted in their GriefShare group as they discover there are others who understand the hurt and the loss they are experiencing.

Don't go through the grieving process alone. We encourage you to email our Care Coordinator, Eileen Hemming, at   for more information.

Divorce & Separation Care

Our Care Ministry Team is available to come alongside those who are separated or divorced and help them discover hope in and experience healing through Christ, who is our hope and peace. Meals Ministry

Our Meals Ministry hopes to provide a meal to those going through challenging times, such as the loss of a loved one, the birth of a child, a sickness, surgery, etc. The ministry of sharing meals is an act of love that tangibly expresses the love of Christ.

If you have a hospitable spirit and would like to nourish those in need at Grace Point through a shared meal, please contact Eileen Hemming, our Care Coordinator, at

Visitation

Our Visitation Ministry provides vital support to the emotional and physical well-being of the sick and elderly within our community. Through personal visits, we communicate to those in need that they are valued, important, and never alone. Our ministry offers the gift of presence, companionship, and a listening ear, bringing comfort and connection to those who may be feeling isolated. Whether it’s a friendly chat, a quiet moment of prayer, or simply sharing time together, our dedicated volunteers are here to show the love and care of Christ through every visit.

Transportation Ministry

Do you have a heart for serving others in need and a reliable car?

Our Care Ministry team is seeking drivers to join our growing Transportation Ministry. This essential team cares for members of our church family by providing transportation to/from doctor visits, appointments, and procedures.

Do you need rides? Or can you provide transportation? Please contact Eileen Hemming, our Care Coordinator at .

Prayer Ministries

We believe prayer is the lifeblood of ministry and of vital importance in the life of the individual believer. Prayer is both a conversation and an encounter with God, filled with faith and armed with courage.
