Starting Point

Starting Point is designed to give folks who are new-er to Grace Point an opportunity to engage in a 6-week small group experience with others who are also new to our fellowship.  Each Starting Point group is led by 2-4 leaders who have called Grace Point home for a while. You may be wondering what happens after the 6-weeks. We have found it all depends on the group. Some groups continue together designating their own leadership within the group while some folks move on and join other small groups and/or Bible studies.

BaRB & kEITH bROWN,

JOAN & Curt ZEBERLEIN

Barb and Keith met in college and married in 1983. They began attending Grace Point in 1985 and have been involved in a variety of ministries throughout the years. They now enjoy being part of the Starting Point leadership and getting to know people who are new or newer to the church. Barb and Keith have two adult children, Heather and Dave. Heather lives in Pittsburgh and serves with a mission organization and Dave lives in Kentucky with his sweet wife and family. Barb and Keith really enjoy being grandparents! They love dogs, walking in the park, traveling, and reading. A recent favorite vacation was hiking almost 100 miles in Glacier National Park in 2021!

Curt and Joan Zeberlein have lived in Langhorne for 26 years. They have three young adult children: Winston, Mason and Ainsley who grew up attending children’s programs and youth group at Grace Point. Curt has been involved in men’s ministry since coming to Grace Point and you will typically find him looking for some “friendly competition” at men’s events. He may “humbly” share his streak as reigning champion of Corn Hole at the Men’s Retreat. Joan has been on staff at Grace Point since 2006. First as part time Director of Women’s Ministry and currently full time as Director of Missions and Hospitality. Curt and Joan have a ton fun serving together and especially love leading Starting Point groups together!

Philippians 2:1-2

“Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.”
