Hudson Small Group

Began in November 2021, we were "born" from a Starting Point group. Made up of men and woman, both single and married, meeting every other Friday evening, for prayer, fellowship and pursuit of a closer relationship with God.

Ed & Denise Hudson

Ed and I have been married for 35 years and have hosting/leading small groups for over 30 years. Ed worked in Engineering for most of his career. I worked in pharmaceutical manufacturing until 2013. That year, Ed and two others founded Good Stuff Thrift. We have invested our time and experience running the business since that time. Good Stuff is a thrift store that donates all of our profit to help children in Bucks county. We both have a passion for helping kids and we feel blessed to have been given this ministry from God. Ed loves to golf and both of us enjoy biking on the canal towpath.

We attended Grace Point (First Baptist Church of Newtown) from around 1995 to 2004. We then attended a Christian church in Doylestown until the COVID 19 shutdown. When Grace Point reopened, we returned to the church and have been enjoying attending worship and Starting Point and now hosting a small group at our home. We are strong believers in and beneficiaries of the power of small groups. They have helped us learn God's Word and they have provided caring relationships that helped hold us accountable to live more godly lives. God has blessed us and others in many ways through the prayers and kindness of those in our groups over the years.

Philippians 2:1-2

“Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.”
